What to know
Make room for your own development in Portugal. Explore PSYA's attention and state-work materials through reading, recorded courses or live online practice. Use the local planning guide for Lisbon and Funchal before choosing your format. Lisbon and Funchal on Madeira currently show the same time, while Ponta Delgada in the Azores is one hour behind. All three zones account for seasonal changes but do not share the same offset. For island travel, choose Europe/Lisbon, Atlantic/Madeira, or Atlantic/Azores by location rather than one hour for all of Portugal.

Keep learning when your location changes
If part of your study week is in the Azores, move independent blocks after checking meetings in local time. Keep the mainland flight day light and allow for travel from the airport. Madeira's clocks match Lisbon, but travel between coastal and mountain areas still needs a buffer.

Frequently asked questions
How do I convert a Lisbon session to Ponta Delgada time?
Use Atlantic/Azores for local display. Currently, 7:00 p.m. in Lisbon corresponds to 6:00 p.m. in Ponta Delgada. Funchal uses Atlantic/Madeira, whose current clocks match Lisbon; do not confuse the two archipelagos.
How can I check for in-person PSYA study in Portugal?
Ask PSYA School about current in-person events, their location and dates. This page helps you compare online learning and local session times; it is not an announcement of a local office or event.
What should I confirm before I pay?
Check the curriculum, prerequisites, teaching language, session dates and time zone, recording access, price and cancellation terms at psyaschool.com. A translated page does not confirm that a course is taught in that language.
